Merry Xmas Everybody Tour!!!
Slade at Fairfield Hall Croydon
19th December 2003
A near packed crowd at Croydon had already got in the mood after support bands Dr & The Medics and T.Rextasy had finished their acts, when, at just after 10.00pm the arena burst out The Thunderbirds signature tune which is now the SLADE trademark “5-4-3-2-1” and out came the boyz with a heavy rendition of
Cum On Feel The Noize. Steve got the crowd going and Dave was running about at the front of the stage like a mad hatter as they belted out
Cum On Let's Party! Far Far
Away and Everyday gave us time to get some breath before Dave Hill
did a splendid solo stint with his Superyob guitar in the middle of Red
Hot.
Look Wot You
Dun, Coz I
Luv You, and Run
Run Away had us all dancing, followed by
Gudbuy T’ Jane and then the hall went CRAZEE as all the Slade crew and Dr & The Medics started throwing toilet rolls into the crowd during
Mama Weer All Crazee
Now, quickly followed by broken drum sticks as Don Powell went through them like Keith Moon on
valium.
Get Down And Get With It and
My Oh My finished the set and then..... the boyz returned for a
Merry Xmas Everybody encore joined by Santa’s little helpers (3 lovely young ladies revealing more then they should do!!!) who bounced and
danced across the stage along with the lads.
WOT A NIGHT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
