Promoter: FOREMA

FOREMA is the business training and development consortium of the Industrialists' Association of Padua, founded in 1983 by a group of entrepreneurs.

Delivering Subject: SOGES Organizzazione e Gestione S.p.A.

Since 1974 SOGES Group has been providing consulting services to a wide range of firms and organisations. These include:

Private, public, mixed-capital manufacturing, commercial and service companies
Associations and Consortia (Industrial Associations)
Public Administration (Ministries, Regional Administrations) and Public Authorities (Hospitals, Chamber of Commerce)
Local Authorities (Provinces, Municipalities) and local Corporations (City-owned enterprises)

Activities of the organisational and management consulting division of SOGES S.p.A. are:

Management consulting for corporations, organisational development, management by objectives, planning and control, financial policy, corporate restructuring and company analysis
Realisation of industrial restructuring and reorganisation, and development of plans for specific industrial sectors
Feasibility studies and start up analysis of commercial and production projects
Organisational assistance in production, finance, administration, marketing and personnel management
Planning and realisation of market research
Technical and economic analysis of technology, products and plants for technological co-operation, know-how sale and purchase, assistance in the drafting of contracts
Consulting for provinces, regions, communes, municipalities and public utility companies
Health sector, to hospitals and related health care bodies in the field of organisation, training, quality assurance and accreditation 

Main objectives of the project

The local development agent will help other extra-EU immigrants

in the insertion
in the work system and in the overcoming of cultural differences

through the matching between workers and enterprises needs and the effective integration in the social and manufacturing environment.

The insertion in the social and work environment of extra-EU citizens through:
the creation of a new professional figure: the local development agent;
the creation of the information points which manage the matching between the extra-EU work force and the Veneto enterprises;
the creation of the first data bank which collects the data about the qualified work force coming from third countries;
20 information points against social exclusion.

Activities

information and vocational guidance for the extra-EU citizens;
consulting to enterprises looking for personnel;
awareness about capabilities and possibilities of the extra-EU citizens;
answer to the needs of extra-EU citizens for accommodation and work insertion;
promotion of  the integration in the social and economic environment;
help enterprises to understand the potential of the extra-EU qualified work force.

 Aim:  information about laws concerning the different  work contract available

 Aim:  provide information on:
Italian economy

Traditional professional figures
Key issues on work interviews and curriculum

 MODULE 10  Human Resources management
 Aim:  address participants to behaviours which  emphases participation and orientation to  results

 MODULE 11  Office automation
 Aim:  provide the participants the skills needed to use  a PC and to “navigate” on the Internet

 MODULE 12  Self entrepreneurship
 Aim:  provide information on opportunities and  problems related  with start of an autonomy and entrepreneurial activity

PLACEMENT ACTIVITIES

The placement will last for six months and will take place in different associations available to host the participants. The students will receive a scholarship and an insurance by INAIL.

At the end of the placement the participant will have acquired considerable capabilities for the constitution and the management of the information points and will be able to obtain a complete financial autonomy.

All the Veneto information points will be linked on the web allowing each other to give immediate answers to any problems.
