The Guitar

I fell in love with the guitar in 1955 when I first heard Big Bill Broonzy.

Started playing seriously in '63.

Made my first guitar in 1968 and it earned my living from '71 until '78. As far as I can remember all my recordings except on "Irish Reels etc." were made using this guitar.

Since '83, playing fewer & fewer gigs, making guitars, harps & various hybrids*, I've worked at Hill's Music in the centre of Brussels repairing stringed instruments from balalaikas to double-basses.

Nowadays my making is more & more restricted to pottery.
