Pots cont'd...

...so in July '97 I enrolled for the ceramics course at the Ecole des Beaux Arts at Uccle where Patrick Piccarelle teaches. At the same time I rented two rooms in his old brick factory in Boom near Antwerp. There, along with his other students I had access to a big wood-fired kiln + raku kilns.

Mid-March the following year came to see this place and immediately fell in love with it. Who could refuse the offer - to live in a brewery? On April Fool's Day I moved in!

The pottery workshop I'm setting up here does work - after a fashion - but like everything else here - it's far from finished.
