For centuries, the Belgians Cemeteries were located around the Churchs.
But now, mostly since the end of WWII, they must be OUT of the towns and villages.
People had to pay for the transfer of the old tombstones...
so, if no family still living near to take care or no money enough to afford the bill, lot of tombstones are
abandonned, destroyed or unreadable...
