Dear Friends and Family: At 9:30 this morning we received the most wonderful blessing, our daughter Amelia Rose Powell. She's 8lbs. and 4ozs., very healthy, with rosy cheeks and a sweet little pout.We're overjoyed to have brought her into our lives, which have been enriched by all of you. We feel blessed to overflowing, and now these blessings will spill into a new life and continue to thrive and grow on their own.

I'm sad to report that Boozoo Chavis's son Charles died of a heart attack
on Saturday night. It's been a rough year for the Chavis family, and
Charles was way too young (in his mid-forties). Charles was the rubboard
player and frontman for Boozoo's band, The Magic Sounds. Condolences may
