Panzer III mod. C

Third pre-production model of the Panzer III, with, once more a modified suspension. Just like the three other pre-production models, this version had only limited production figures. It was not technically fit for mass-production. The armor is still quite inadequate to avoid breaking the weight limit of 15 tons imposed by the Army. The Panzer III mod. C saw action for the first time in Poland.
Identification: Eight road-wheels, individually suspended with a spring. "Dustbin" cupola, with straight sides.
